Random Mind #1

I thought if I could keep these random thoughts in blog it would be better. Twitter or Facebook are just too expensive for an office prisoner like me. So here I go:

Was reading dramabeans about Que Sera-Sera and realize how un-finish the drama is from the viewers' point of view. Thinking about this guy who is serving his military duty and will come back in 9 months. So Eric, just do Que Sera-Sera season 2 when you come back please!

Nggak Penting...But Still

I have times when I feel like... Soul-less. That's the time when I think I haven't watch enough heart-warming drama. Heart-warming dramas recharge my soul. When one of those kind of drama ends, I mourned and prayed, Allah... please let me watch another good one after this.

KBS Hot Blood just ended yesterday night. Leaving me a warm feel of family love, sincere friendship, peaceful and brave heart and less-than-it-should-be romantic scenes. It's rating were never high. But my taste sometimes don't go along the ratings. Honestly it's the presence of Park Hae Jin of FO that drags me into this drama at first. But when I watch along next episodes, they do worth watching indeed. Like I said, this drama makes me soulful. That little things I should embrace while walking the rough weekdays and never-enough-rest weekends, that life is not all about money. That the most precious things in your life are tend to be forgotten and only occurs to your regret when it's gone. That friends are invaluable and enemies are lying within yourself. Greed, fear, grudge. Hot Blood is over. Next!

2010 Is Here

Happy New Year Everyone!

For me 2009 has been a laid back year. I need to pay it in 2010. After all, this is my second year serving in national oil and gas company and learning SAP. I put up my saving in a good way, move out from being "anak kos" to "ibu kontrakan". 2009 is the first year I was fascinated by Korean entertainment the whole year. Came to KL for a business trip. I lost 3 kg, get to know SAP BI closer, finally get a courage I need to have long time ago. I bought an oven to encourage this mind, hands and fingers to have fun besides laptop. I learn to reach office by train and try to reach home before dawn.

Anyway, let's talk about NOTHING in Korean entertainment, hihi. The best kdrama in 2009, my sister and I agree, is The Sons of Sol's Pharmacy House. The most entertaining variety show is Variety Jeongshin's 2 Days 1 Night. The impressive music talk show is Yu Hui Yeol's Sketchbook. 2009 is full of girls and boys band with catchy rhythm and beautiful faces, my picks are 2NE1 and SHINee. I enjoy Clazziquai's Tell Yourself, IRIS' OST by Baek Ji Young and Shin Seung Hoon, Kim Tae Woo's Love Rain. Lee Eun Mi's I Have a Lover, Lee Min Woo's IMU and Love is a Beautiful Word, Shin Hye Sung's You Are Beautiful. I enjoy Invincible Youth and Family Outing too (thanks to Iky ^_^). I learn a bit about Hangul and Korean vocabs.

In 2010 this blog will be full of Korean tidbits, SAP and .... we'll see.

Currently on my desk, SD KPI infocube is doing major data load. We deleted the wrong old data and reload them from the beginning. Wish us well or SD KPI will have zero data.

Debug a Start, End or an Expert Routine in BI 7.0 Transformations

I have been wondering how to debug a transformation routine in SAP BI. Well this is how. After that, I wonder what should I do with the data I extract using the debug mode. At the second thought, just delete it after the culprit is found right?

Upgrade Extraction Structure

Consider SAP Notes 328181 when you need to upgrade extraction structure in the Customizing Cockpit (transaction LBWE). And when the trouble has happened, check in SE37 whether you have MCEX_GENERATE_DDIC_HASH. If not, do SAP Notes 834897. Then say a pray and do this and this (the last one only for Purchasing, find relevant notes for other application).
